1st presentation board by Jivka 1st presentation board by Jivka
Okay this presentation board is old I know..but I tough it was the right to be submitted since it has my first school project made digitally.

between me and photoshop it was LOVE at first sigh. I've always been attracted by the digital/graphic world, but when you don't know nothing about how it works, it all seem...magic. Since then, I've wanted to learn more and more about photophop and Illustrator( an other wonderful program), but my stuying were keeping me VERY busy. So I've put that on the side for a few years.

Now that I'm done with my Fashion design studies, I'm fully ready to start new project/experiences! I'm planing to learn web related graphics! YAY!

p.s:...lot of text...propably filled with mistake. XD

wow! This is good!! love your design and your flats look great.

i SUCKED at presentation boards! i threw mine away after i graduated(with an AS). I'm not good at (fashion) drawing period. I'm more of a flats person but can still mange to mis-draw a line here n there. My school didnt teach digital illustration when i went. lucky for me I learned it when i had enrolled in graphic design prior to fashion.

Awww thanks for the comments!

For me it's the other way around! I LOVE presentations board, but flats drive me crazy, so technical, so...well flat lol!

lol! As a kid i learned to draw clothes flat(and didnt know they were called flats til school) so i guess I just go used to it. i still have a hard time with folds n such.
This is really great to be your first board(digitally?)

the first years, we were making the board "manually", drawing/inking/coloring by hand and then cutting/gluing the thing togheter, it was nice to, but I'm a verry messy person (super orginized, but messy..go figure!) So I was really having a hard time because my board always ended up with stains. So when we learn graphics in second years, I FEEL IN LOVE!!! No more mess! yay!

For this board, I draw the styles and the silhouette by hand, but the coloring and everything else was done digitally

i loved that it was hands on but it gets tiring after awhile. Yeah i'm messy organized too. I actually made templates for my flats and saved them as illustrator files that way i didnt have to do everything from scratch.
I hope to do more boards soon but right now i'm looking into making jewelry.
